Aaron Wright Obituary (1939 – 2022) – Waterford, MI

Aaron Glen Miles Wright (82) passed away on March 11, 2022, surrounded by a loving family. They say the best things in life come in small packages, and nothing could be truer about this beloved man. He packed a lot of heart, charisma, intelligence, business savvy, charm, humor and kindness into his 5′ 6″ frame.
Every aspect of his life was full and rich. His career path has been vast, varied and fulfilling. He enjoyed golf, boating and reading. He nurtured friendships for decades and decades and was blessed to call Michigan and Florida home.
Aaron was born and raised in Waterford, and being the loyal soul that he was, he never quite left. He graduated from Waterford Township High School and attended Western Michigan University and Michigan State University. Aaron began his career as a salesman for the Yellow Pages. He then owned a real estate company for many years. Eventually, life took him back to his professional roots, where he was the head of the industrial yellow pages at ATT before retiring at age 55.
Aaron loved his life with his wife, Mary. Together they loved living on the water and spent their time enjoying their home on Lake Elizabeth. The winters were spent at their condo in Lauderdale by the Sea where Aaron served as condominium president for over 25 years.
Husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather. Son, brother, friend, boss, employee, Mr. Wright, Mr. Always Wright. Mr. Speaker are just a handful of the titles he held throughout his life. His family mourns him wholeheartedly, with love in their hearts and endless nuggets of wisdom he left them.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Mary Copp Wright, his children, Lori Bos (late Mark), Leigh Wright (Jason). His grandchildren Chelsea Woodward (Josh) and Jacob Bos (Ashley). Great-grandchildren Jackson and Holland Woodward.
