Collen Mashawana (@collenmashawane) took to his social media to document in a Twitter thread his journey in building a beautiful home for South African reggae musician, producer and legend, Dr Colbert Mukwevho, after having expressed his difficulties in not owning a house.

“We made a commitment to build him a house to honor him for his contribution to society, a promise that was kept later,” Mashawana said in one of his tweets.

He further explained how several weeks after Dr Mukwevho’s initial meeting and @CollenMashFound plans for a mansion were devised for the music legend and presented to him.

Mashawana added that Dr Colbert Mukwevho has been asked to constantly inspect his home’s construction progress and has helped the team where he can.

“CMF donated a fully furnished house to Dr Mukwevho which has a view of the Nandoni Dam. The 250 square meter four bedroom house is located on a 10,000 square meter plot. It has two different living rooms. , a kitchen, a guest toilet, a kitchen and a single garage. The house was equipped with electricity and water, ”he said.

Mashawana is a self-taught African philanthropist interested in the infrastructure development sector.

“I am passionate about changing and improving the lives of Africans,” he said in his Twitter biography.
