Entrepreneur of the year 2021

Well, it was worth the wait. After a break in 2020 for the pandemic, the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year’s Pacific Region program returns for its 27th edition. This time around, the competition honors nine women and men, heads of seven companies from various sectors, who will advance to the national final in November. While these entrepreneurs have one thing in common, they have all seen their businesses grow during COVID-19, thanks to factors such as increased demand for their digital services or the development of new products that have saved lives. We wish them even more success and good luck for the next round.

How the winners were chosen

EY Entrepreneur Of The Year is an annual global awards program administered by Ernst & Young (EY). For Canada’s Pacific Region program, EY selects judges from among local business leaders and past program recipients. Judges assess candidates based on several factors, including entrepreneurship, value creation, strategic direction, national and global impact, innovation, and goal-oriented leadership. These seven winners from the Pacific region will compete at the national awards ceremony in November, where EY will announce the 10 national winners, including Canada’s 2021 EY Entrepreneur of the Year. nomination and evaluation criteria are available on ey.com/ca/EOY.
